NCR Said to Plan 200 Sales, IT Job Cuts in Atlanta

Financial technology firm NCR Corp. is planning to cut 200 jobs, Atlanta Business Chronicle has learned.
The Duluth, Ga.-based maker of electronic kiosks and ATMs , is transforming into a technology and services company. It’s a pivot many industrial giants, including IBMand GE are making, to stay relevant in the digital age.
The NCR cuts, expected to occur in the next few weeks, will affect sales and IT operations, a source said.
