Dan Floyd Joins FIG Partners

FIG Partners, one of the nation's premier investment banking and research firms specializing in community banks, today announced that Dan Floyd, who has 20 years of financial services experience, has been named Principal and Managing Director in Chicago.
Floyd will be responsible for developing business relationships with community banks in the Midwest, where FIG Partners currently works with more than 75 banks. The firm's award-winning research team follows almost 40 community banks in the region.
FIG offers a complete range of advisory and trading services for community banks, including investment banking, market making and fixed-income services.

Prior to joining FIG Partners, Floyd worked for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods for 15 years in the firm's Chicago office, which he co-founded. At KBW, Floyd was a member of the senior leadership team and recently advised on M&A and capital raising transactions for several of the Midwest's most acquisitive banks. Earlier in his career, he worked for Robert W. Baird & Co. andJohnson Bank. Floyd has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management from Northwestern University and Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Marquette University.
Floyd will be located in the firm's Chicago office.
