The Atlanta Community Food Bank has been awarded the highest rating for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency by Charity Navigator, the country's largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities.

For four consecutive years, Charity Navigator has awarded the Atlanta Community Food Bank an "exceptional" ranking of four stars out of a possible four, demonstrating adherence to good governance and fiscal responsibility. Only seven percent of the charities rated by Charity Navigator have received at least four consecutive, four-star evaluations, indicating that Atlanta Community Food Bank outperforms most other charities in America.

"This exceptional ranking reflects Atlanta Community Food Bank's (ACFB) continuous commitment to financial stewardship and transparency when it comes to charitable contributions and maintaining the public's trust," said Arlene Glaser, ACFB Board Chair. "This distinction highlights ACFB's hard work in remaining true to its mission to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering our community."

Charity Navigator provides essential information that gives donors greater confidence in the charitable choices they support. The designation from Charity Navigator differentiates ACFB from its peers and demonstrates to the public that it is worthy of their trust.
