Southern Company Announces Quarterly Dividend

Southern Company today announced a regular quarterly dividend of 52.50 cents per share on the company's common stock, payable Mar. 6, 2015, to shareholders of record as of Feb. 17, 2015. This marks 269 consecutive quarters – dating back to 1948 – that Southern Company will have paid a dividend to its shareholders.
