Georgia Business Groups Heap Praise on Transportation Funding Bill

After being hit with complaints during the past week, a comprehensive transportation funding bill making its way through the Georgia House of Representatives received mostly praise Thursday.
Lobbyists for business groups thanked lawmakers for taking on such a politically dicey issue and supported most of the solutions the bill proposes for chronic underfunding of highway and transit needs in Georgia.
