Georgia Senators Blast Obama Veto of Keystone Pipeline
Wednesday, February 25th, 2015
Georgia's Republican U.S. senators took President Barack Obama to task Tuesday for vetoing construction of the Keystone XL pipeline.
Sen. David Perdue called the president's veto "ridiculous," coming on the heels of bipartisan votes in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate to approve it.
"Georgians are sick and tired of petty politics and gridlock in Washington, and President Obama's veto is the epitome of both," Perdue said.
