Spirit Airlines Adds Atlanta Flights

Spirit Airlines, the first Ultra-Low Cost Carrier in the Americas, continues its dramatic growth in 2015. Today the carrier known for its crazy low fares will add additional service to and from nine new cities from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Now customers traveling to and from Atlanta who couldn't afford the high airfares, or justify being forced to pay more for services they don't want or need, can fly to more places for a lot less.

Spirit is thrilled to announce the following new daily, nonstop routes from Atlanta:

  • Atlanta to Cleveland, Las Vegas, and Orlando beginning May 7, 2015
  • Atlanta to Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Tampa beginning June 18, 2015
  • Atlanta to Los Angeles beginning August 20, 2015
  • Atlanta to Boston and Fort Myers* beginning September 10, 2015

"2015 is going to be a blockbuster year for saving money on travel with Spirit Airlines," said Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airlines' Vice President of Network Planning. "Spirit's ultra-low Bare Fares™ plus Frill Control™ are sure to be a hit with cost conscious travelers in The Big Peach and the many cities we are linking it to with this new service."

With these additional routes, Spirit Airlines will operate nonstop flights from Atlanta to 15 cities. Current routes from Atlanta include: Atlantic City, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, and Houston. In addition, Spirit offers connecting service to over 30 more domestic and international cities from Atlanta.

To date, Spirit has announced 26 new nonstop routes to its network starting in 2015, and jumps to 37 with today's announcements.
