SafeHouse Outreach hosts their 20th Annual SHO Urban Gala on Friday, March 27 at 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium, featuring dinner by Wolfgang Puck, a silent auction, dancing and special programs. The evening’s theme will be SHO Renewal.
During the cocktail hour, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., guests are welcome to tour the aquarium with a smaller crowd at their leisure before the program and dinner begin. The silent auction will be available to bid on as well as other activities for guests. The program and dinner begin at 7:00 p.m.; SafeHouse will recognize community volunteers with special awards and following the dinner there will feature a DJ with an open dance floor.
“The gala is a great opportunity to get caught up on SafeHouse’s 2015 vision and reflect on what we’ve accomplished over the last year,” said Philp Bray, Founder and President of SHO, “This event celebrates people who have been with us from the beginning and those who are learning about us for the first time.” Last year, more than 300 supporters attended the event and raised nearly $75,000.
Families are welcome to attend; preferred attire is black tie, jeans or leathers. Tickets are $150 per individual and $1,500 per table that seats 10.
Proceeds will benefit SafeHouse Outreach, an Atlanta-urban outreach organization committed to affecting real change in the lives of those in the margins of society, by providing a hand up, not just a hand out.
Event organizers are seeking additional sponsors to help make this event a success. If you would like to become a sponsor, please contact Yvonne Hudson, Resource Development Director & MentorPlus Program Director: [email protected] or 404-523-2221.
