Atlantans Have the Longest Commute in Entire U.S.

It’s a well-known fact that Atlanta has some of the worst traffic in the nation. And according to a new report released by the Metropolitan Policy Program at Brookings Institution, Atlantans also have the longest commute in the country.
The Washington, D.C.-based think tank's report found in the Atlanta metro area, which spans 29 counties and contains more than 5 million people and 2 million jobs, the typical commute distance is 12.8 miles.
