Curant Health is adding 11,600 s.f. to its Atlanta headquarters. The expansion brings Curant’s presence at 200 Technology Ct. to a total of 26,844 s.f., space that is necessary to accommodate consistent double digit growth and the addition of another 28 healthcare professionals in the Atlanta area to its payroll in 2014.
Curant’s revenue topped $100M for the first time in 2014 ($138M), representing 47% growth year-over-year.
“We have been providing value-based healthcare services in a broken, fee-for-service world for more than a decade,” says Patrick Dunham, President and CEO, of Curant Health. “We continue to grow because our medication management programs are proven to increase adherence, reduce readmissions and improve outcomes for the most difficult, most costly to treat chronically ill patients. We anticipate our growth will accelerate as the healthcare industry moves away from fee-for-service to value-based pay and more patients experience the service that earns us a 98% patient retention rate.”
According to a 2013 IMS Health study, more than $105 billion in avoidable healthcare expenditures is directly attributed to medication non-adherence.
“Our programs have the capacity to move the largest lever in wasteful healthcare spending – non-adherence – while improving outcomes for chronically ill patients,” says Marc O’Connor, COO of Curant Health. “When ‘value’ is defined as outcomes divided by costs, what works, what is needed and why Curant Health is successful in healthcare delivery becomes crystal clear.”
Curant Health treats tens of thousands of patients throughout the United States every year through its medication management protocols and supports its provider partners with its award-winning EMR, MedPlan™.
“For prescribers and other healthcare providers, we are a trusted advisor generating and delivering the optimal medication therapy for each patient,” Dunham says. “We streamline the prior authorization process through clinical oversight, and we provide data that yields a comprehensive view of patient adherence to medication therapies.
“For patients, we provide individualized medication management therapies and continuous, consistent case management including patient education and support.”
Brian Fratesi of Connolly Net Lease represented Curant Health in the lease agreement with Todd Nocerini representing the owner, Songy Partners.
