Georgia House Expands Tax Credit for Historic Renovations

The Georgia House of Representatives has approved legislation that would expand a state tax credit used to help restore historic buildings.
Under the bill, which the House passed 147-22 Wednesday night, the maximum tax credit developers could receive for restoring historic buildings would jump from $300,000 per project to $5 million.
