Georgia House Renews Angel Investors Tax Credit

The Georgia House of Representatives voted unanimously Wednesday to renew an angel investors tax credit the state launched four years ago.

Since the law took effect in 2011, 225 qualified startups and early-growth companies have registered with the Georgia Department of Revenue to receive angel investment, Rep. Bruce Williamson, R-Monroe, the bill's chief sponsor, told his House colleagues during a brief presentation.
