Georgia's 210 state-based FDIC insured banks posted their highest earnings since 2007 by topping $2.57 billion in 2014.
But which were the Peach State's highest performing banks during the year?
St. Louis-based Banker's Caddy found the state's top 25 performing banks by considering earnings, asset quality, capitalization, growth and liquidity, and then weighing those metrics to reflect its relative importance in assessing the bank's performance.
