Press release from the issuing company

Thursday, March 19th, 2015

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport today introduced an online parking reservation system that allows travelers to reserve a space in selected parking lots before arriving at the world’s busiest airport. The new online reservation program also offers a significant discount to travelers parking at the international terminal.

A reserved space in the domestic Park Ride Reserve lot is $12 per day, plus a one-time booking fee of $5 per reservation. A reserved space in the international hourly parking deck is $16-$24, based upon overall customer demand, plus a one-time booking fee of $5 per reservation. The online rate represents up to a 50 percent discount from the usual $32 daily fee charged at the international hourly parking deck.

“We’re pleased to be able to expand the range of services we offer to our customers,” says Aviation General Manager Miguel Southwell. “By saving travelers the stress of finding a parking space when they’re trying to catch a flight, Hartsfield-Jackson is continuing to build on its success as the world’s most efficient airport.”

The Park Ride Reserve lot is served by a shuttle that carries travelers to and from the domestic terminal, while the international hourly parking deck is within easy walking distance of the international terminal. The program ensures that a parking space is available at the time the traveler has scheduled.

Booking is as easy as selecting a reservation date and time, selecting the parking facility and completing payment by credit card. Travelers will receive an email confirming their reservation. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, but also can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the traveler’s scheduled departure time for a full refund minus the one-time booking fee.

Travelers will be able to book spaces up to six months in advance at the domestic Park Ride Reserve lot and international hourly parking deck by logging onto the airport website’s new reservation page, www.atlanta-airport.com/Passenger/Parking/PRCSPassthrough.aspx
