Hundreds Flock to Northwest Georgia Career Expo Searching for Work

Hundreds of north Georgia residents traveled to the Catoosa County Colonnade on Thursday, April 2, to take part in the Northwest Georgia Career Expo and to make contact with area employers with hopes of landing employment.
The event took place between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and was hosted by the Georgia Department of Labor and the Catoosa County Board of Commissioners.
More than 500 people had shown up at the expo by noon on Thursday and nearly 1,000 in total came by during the event’s entirety.
