Walmart Boosts Wages for Its 23,275 Georgia Employees

Walmart gave pay raises to its 23,275 employees in Georgia for the pay period starting April 4, 2015.

Checks with the raises will be delivered on April 23. With the raises, Walmart employees earn at least $1.75 an hour above the federal minimum wage and $3.85 above the Georgia minimum wage, according to the discount retail giant.

The new full-time average hourly wage in Georgia is now $13.17 for Walmart workers.
