Global management consulting firm, North Highland, today announced that it has acquired ACME Business Consulting, a leading management consulting firm with a strong foothold in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2002, ACME Business Consulting focuses on solving complex client challenges and driving meaningful results through their key offerings centered on building organizational capability, transformational change and people, process improvement, program management and complex technical implementations. The ACME acquisition further strengthens North Highland’s offering across several key industries and bolsters its presence in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S.
“Like North Highland, ACME takes a client-first approach to consulting. Through combining the two firms, we see the potential to further accelerate growth in the West Region and across our firm,” said Dan Reardon, CEO of North Highland. “By joining forces, we are even better positioned to serve our clients with revenue-driving strategies and help them solve their most complex business challenges.”
The cultural compatibilities, impressive client rosters and unique-but-aligned business models of both firms revealed a compelling opportunity to provide clients with greater expertise and results. Similar to North Highland, ACME also empowers employees to work with clients, not at them, to achieve unprecedented goals and uncover innovative, strategic solutions.
“ACME Business Consulting has always been focused on delivering the greatest impact to our clients, employees and communities,” said Scott Demorest, one of ACME’s founders. “Now, as North Highland, we will be able to drive an even greater impact and differentiated experience, including an ability to scale to meet the needs of our multinational clients. We are excited to be part of such a well-regarded firm and for our employees to now be owners of North Highland.”
North Highland will continue to be led by CEO Dan Reardon, with Bob Lamont continuing his regional leadership role as president of the West Region. Scott Demorest, David Kelleher and Peter Lizotte, founders of ACME, will each assume the role of vice president at North Highland, helping to drive forth the business strategy in the Pacific Northwest.
Both North Highland and ACME have been recognized as outstanding places to work, with ACME receiving top honors on several “Best Places to Work” lists in Oregon and Washington State, most recently being named No. 5 on Oregon Business’ “Best 100 Companies to Work for in Oregon.” North Highland’s offices regularly appear on local “Best Places to Work Lists.” The firm also consistently ranks within the top five of Consulting Magazine’s annual “Best Firms to Work For.”
