Cobb Approves Transportation Plan That Includes Bus Rapid Transit

Commissioners voted 5-0 Tuesday to approve a plan that recommends spending $5.3 billion on transportation projects, including a bus rapid transit system.
Commissioners approved the Cobb Comprehensive Transportation Plan, last updated in 2008, which plans for growth and transportation needs in the county for the next 25 years, said Faye DiMassimo, the county’s transportation director.
