Geoffrey C. Nnadi Appointed CEO of Atlanta Life Financial

The Board of Directors of Atlanta Life Financial Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Geoffrey C. Nnadi as President and Chief Executive Officer, Atlanta Life Financial Group. Mr. Nnadi most recently served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Nnadi will report to the Board of Directors and assume his post immediately.
“Accepting the post as President and CEO is a most distinguished honor as it affords me the opportunity to expand my service to ALFG’s shareholders and clients,” said Mr. Nnadi. “ALFG and its subsidiaries have embarked upon a number of initiatives that will make our growth predictable, profits sustainable, and ensure the legacy of our founder Alonzo Herndon.”

Mr. Nnadi has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held various management positions within the industry, including Finance, Treasury and Operations.
Mr. Nnadi joined Atlanta Life in September 1993 as Controller. Prior to assuming the position as ALFG’s interim President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nnadi held the office of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Atlanta Life Financial Group.
Mr. Nnadi’s career also includes posts at Barclays Bank, Sun Insurance Services, Inc., and Primerica Financial.
Mr. Nnadi graduated summa cum laude in 1984 from Alabama A&M University with a BS degree in Accounting and a MBA in Accounting/Finance. He became a certified public accountant in 1992.
