Georgia, Alabama Still Battling Over Water

A tussle over water at the state line that has kept Georgia and Alabama at loggerheads for decades shows no sign of being resolved by the publication this month of a new master water control manual for the Alabama-Coosa-Tallapoosa River Basin.
The signatures were barely dry before the state of Alabama opted to sue the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
