Oil Business Has Eyes on Coastal Georgia

It did not take long for oil-related companies to begin eyeing Coastal Georgia following recent federal regulation changes, and that increased interest is getting mixed reactions. Some see environmental disaster, while others see a potential job creator.
President Barack Obama declared last year that the Atlantic Ocean was open for oil exploration, meaning offshore drilling could become a possibility off the beaches of the Golden Isles.
