Batson-Cook Construction Promotes Nancy Black to VP of Human Resources

Batson-Cook Construction is pleased to announce the promotion of Nancy Black to vice-president of human resources. Mrs. Black, most recently director of human resources for the general contracting company, will continue to lead the company’s human resources operations, including benefits, training, recruitment and leadership development.
“Nancy has been a tremendous asset to Batson-Cook over the years, particularly during the last 18 months as we have grown to nearly 600 employees,” said Randy Hall, president and CEO of the West Point-based company. “I am delighted that she has achieved this milestone in her career as Batson-Cook celebrates its 100th anniversary.”
Prior to joining Batson-Cook, Mrs. Black worked in the training and human resources department of Wal-Mart Logistics. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in management from LaGrange College, and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and Georgia Association of Builders and Contractors.
A native of Pensacola, Mrs. Black and her husband, Jimmy, have five children and live in Newnan, where they attend Crossroads Church. She enjoys CrossFit, painting, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
