In recognition of National Homeownership Month in June, Invest Atlanta and Atlanta BeltLine announced their partnership  to host the first Westside Trail Open House Walking Tour on June 6, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The self-guided walking tour of available homes in Adair Park, Capitol View, Capitol View Manor, Pittsburgh and Sylvan Hills will kick-off at Adair Park 1 located at 742 Catherine Street SW, Atlanta, GA. Attendees will see  homes for sale along the Westside Trail and learn about home buyer incentives offered by Invest Atlanta and the Atlanta Beltline. Prices for the featured homes range from $50,000 to $200,000.  Invest Atlanta and Atlanta Beltline’s home buyer incentives offer up to $30,000 for first time home buyers.

"The Atlanta BeltLine is connecting neighbors and communities, and a key commitment of the BeltLine is to expand affordable housing access. Along with the City's comprehensive housing strategy, the partnership between Invest Atlanta and Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. is making homeownership along the BeltLine attainable for all residents," said Mayor Kasim Reed.

The event is free and open to the public and will have food, games, music and prizes. Complimentary shuttle bus service will be available throughout the neighborhoods. Attendees will also be able to tour renovated homes in the area and the Urban Farm. Partners will be onsite to help with special financing, tips and advice. There will also be experts to  counsel on saving a home that may be experiencing financial distress.
