Agritourism Blooming Across Georgia
Monday, July 27th, 2015
Cynthia Norton does not spend her days in an office, where walls and ceilings would block her from the core of her job. As the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Agritourism manager, Norton’s role requires her to be on the road and, quite literally, in the field.
Traveling throughout the state to find new and promote existing agricultural-based hot spots, Norton’s prime goal is to bring as many farmers, ranchers, brewers, wine producers and other agrarian-based individuals rooted in Georgia’s soil into the state’s tourism spotlight as she can.
