Invest Atlanta Board OKs Matching Funds for Turner Field Area Planning

The board of Atlanta’s economic development agency is kicking in its share of funding to help plan the future of the neighborhoods surrounding Turner Field.
Invest Atlanta board members voted unanimously Thursday to provide a matching grant of $25,000 for consulting services needed to develop a plan for the Turner Field area after the Atlanta Braves leave for a new stadium being built in Cobb County.
