Atlanta-based voluntary benefits company Purchasing Power recently presented Junior Achievement of Georgia with 40 new HP Chromebooks for its pioneering 3DE educational program in DeKalb County. Representatives from Ronald E. McNair High School met at the J.A. Discovery Center in the Georgia World Congress Center to receive the donation.

When response to the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of schools in Dekalb County, McNair High School sought to equip its 3DE students with technology tools to help them continue their studies.  As part of its ongoing community partnership with Junior Achievement, Purchasing Power reached out with its resources to provide the support students need to prepare them for further education and advanced careers in their futures. The donated Chromebooks will continue to serve McNair students this fall as they participate in the innovative 3DE program, created to break through barriers between traditional educational models and broader business communities.
