Frazier & Deeter, a nationally ranked public accounting and advisory firm, was named one of the 2020 Accounting MOVE Project Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership. Frazier & Deeter received this honor for the 6th time since 2014. Frazier & Deeter is the only accounting firm based in the Southeast to receive this recognition six times.
“This continued recognition confirms that Frazier & Deeter is on the right trajectory for creating an equitable culture for women seeking leadership roles, in an industry that typically struggles with inclusivity,” noted Monique Quindsland, Audit Partner and Leader of the Diversity & Inclusion Committeeat Frazier & Deeter.
Quindsland further explained, “As a firm, we have made it a priority to build and sustain an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.”
“It is an honor to once again be named a Best CPA Firm for Equity Leadership,” stated Sabrina Serafin. Serafin is the National Practice Leader of Frazier & Deeter’s Process, Risk & Governance Practice. “Now, more than ever, it is important that we continue to create opportunities for professional growth and development among the women in our industry.”
The Accounting MOVE Project measures and supports the advancement of women in accounting and consulting firms. The MOVE report outlines tactics that women, advocates for women and firm leaders can take to ensure that women CPAs can achieve their aspirations for their careers and drive firm growth in the process.
The Accounting MOVE Project Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership list recognizes firms with a percentage of women partners and principals that are well above the industry average.
In 2009, Frazier & Deeter built on its strong presence of women by launching the Women’s Business Leadership Initiative to support female executives and business owners. Since its introduction, the initiative has offered programming for women seeking to launch a business, grow an existing business or enhance their leadership skills. In addition to supporting women business owners, this program also offers women within the firm with a unique platform for building a network of business relationships.
