Taylor English Duma LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Manori de Silva as a partner in the firm’s international practice. She focuses on counseling businesses and executives in a variety of employment and commercial matters.

Qualified as an attorney in the United States and a solicitor in England, Manori brings extensive international legal experience advising global brands and senior executives on employment issues, as well as providing commercial advice to her international clients. Because she has lived in Europe and the U.S., her strong understanding of cultural differences helps her successfully guide European companies conducting business in the U.S. and American companies navigating the complex web of worker protections in Europe. She has successfully helped numerous European businesses expand to the U.S.

Manori works hand-in-hand with her multi-national clients to develop executable strategies that take into account the legal and business challenges and opportunities faced by the company. Her passion lies in acting as a counselor to help entrepreneurs, executives, and businesses succeed in the U.S., and her genuine interest in client’s long-term goals allows her to build strong relationships with each client.

Prior to attending law school, Manori worked as a recording engineer, as well as writing music and editing radio and television commercials for large businesses in the Netherlands.

Outside of the office, Manori serves as the President of the Netherlands-American Chamber of Commerce of the South Eastern U.S., and is a board member of the British-American Business Council. Manori regularly organizes events for the European business community in Atlanta, including for the Women’s Series of the bilateral chambers of commerce. Manori helped to organize and spoke at the Europe Day Lunch in May 2019. She is also fluent in Dutch and proficient in French.

Manori earned her bachelor’s degree from the Royal Conservatory of the Netherlands and law degree from London College of Law.
