He focuses his practice on complex litigation matters, defending a variety of clients in personal injury, products liability, and pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare litigation. Cox was recently sworn in to the Georgia Bar and is also licensed in Ohio.

“We are thrilled to announce Brandon as an integral part of our team. He is an accomplished litigator and trial attorney, and his in-depth understanding of product liability law is a tremendous asset to our growing practice, both in Atlanta and nationwide,” said Lori G. Cohen, Vice Chair of Greenberg Traurig and co-chair of the firm’s Global Litigation Practice, chair of the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice, and chair of the firm's Trial Practice Group.

Cox served as an Adjunct Professor in Medical Device Law at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, his alma mater, which recognized him as a 2019 "Leader on the Rise" based upon his legal work, professional leadership, and dedication to community service. He was also listed as a “Rising Star” by Ohio Super Lawyers in 2019 and 2020.

"Greenberg Traurig is known for its top-flight product liability practice," said Cox, who is now Of Counsel at the firm. "The firm's extensive U.S. platform and expansive, global footprint will allow me to grow my practice while continuing to serve clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and health care industries. Equally important to me is the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, which is apparent throughout all levels of the firm including leadership.”

With a passion that extends to mentoring aspiring lawyers, Cox has coached students for the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court competition who won multiple best brief and best advocate awards, several regional championships, and the 2017 national championship. He has also coached high school students in mock trial and moot court, including three teams that have won the state championship.
