Georgia Power is proud to partner with Atlanta Business Chronicle to present the third annual “Business of Entertainment: Georgia Power Rising Star Student Scholarship.”

This scholarship recognizes one college junior or senior student in good standing pursuing a degree in film-related studies. The scholarship winner will be awarded $5,000 and is to be used to further his/her education and prepare for a career in the film industry.

The award will be presented at the Atlanta Business Chronicle 2020 Business of Entertainment virtual event on Thursday, December 3, 2020. The scholarship winner will be notified in advance and asked to attend the event. 

To nominate a deserving student, please submit a narrative of 500 words or less speaking to why he/she is deserving of the award. The selection committee will be comprised of members of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s editorial board and Georgia Power. 

Nominations close November 6 and scholarship winners will be notified the week of November 20.
