Ameris Bank Director of Treasury Management Keith Flynn announces that Howard Lemons has joined Ameris Bank as a senior vice president and head of product management for Ameris Bank Treasury Services. Lemons will be responsible for the end-to-end development, execution and performance of all treasury services products, including the business online banking application, ACH, wire, positive pay, lockbox, remote deposit, commercial card and mobile banking applications.

With over 23 years of banking experience, Lemons is an expert in all aspects of treasury management functions. Lemons’ career began with Wachovia Bank (Wells Fargo) as a leader in the lockbox operations. After seven years at Wachovia, he joined SunTrust Bank (Truist) as a lockbox product developer. Over his thirteen years at SunTrust, Lemons held various positions. Most recently, he was the product manager at Renasant Bank, with oversight of the business digital banking application, payments, fraud and commercial card.

Lemons is a dedicated community member currently serving as chairman of the Make A Difference Foundation, Inc. He graduated from the University of Georgia and earned his MBA from Mercer University. Lemons currently resides in McDonough, Georgia with his family.
