Habitat for Humanity International is pleased to announce the election of Salesforce President and Chief Financial Officer Amy Weaver and the Right Reverend Robert C. Wright, bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, to its board of directors.

As president and chief financial officer at Salesforce, Weaver is responsible for leading the company’s global finance organization. She previously served as the company’s chief legal officer, playing a key role in the company’s global legal, compliance and corporate affairs organizations. Before joining Salesforce, Weaver was the executive vice president and general counsel of Univar Solutions Inc., where she was responsible for overseeing the company’s legal and corporate affairs. She also held various positions with Expedia, Inc., an online travel shopping company, and Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Perkins Coie LLP. She served as a legislative aid to a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council and a clerk for the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Weaver holds a law degree from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College. 

Rev. Wright serves as the tenth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. He began his career serving in the U.S. Navy as a helicopter crew chief and search and rescue diver. After five years in the Navy, he graduated from Howard University with a degree in history and political science and worked as a child advocate for the Children’s Defense Fund in Washington, D.C. He studied at Ridley Hall, Cambridge University, and holds a master of divinity from the Virginia Theological Seminary. Wright was ordained as a priest in the Diocese of Washington in 1999 and served as canon pastor and vicar of the Congregation of St. Saviour at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City. Wright and his family moved to Atlanta in 2002 where he served as rector of the historical St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He was ordained and consecrated a bishop in 2013 and is the first African American to become an Episcopal bishop in Georgia.

Habitat also extends its gratitude to Scot Sellers, Jimmy Masrin, and Jason Kilar, who completed their service on the board of directors in November 2020.

Habitat’s board of directors is responsible for establishing policy and guiding the organization’s efforts to build or improve affordable housing in partnership with families across the United States and in more than 70 countries around the world. Habitat board members serve for two-year terms that can be renewed up to four times.
