Tuesday, March 9th, 2021
Atlanta has a new place to indulge in primping and pampering on the Upper Westside. Les Mains Nail Bar, which has earned cult-status since launching its first location in Buckhead, is opening a full-service salon on March 13 at The Works, an adaptive mixed-use project by Selig Development on the Upper Westside.
Founded by owner Linda Vo, Les Mains operates three sister salons in the metro Atlanta area. The new location at The Works will serve as the brand’s flagship. Larger than previous Les Mains spaces, The Works location features 26 ergonomic spa chairs and 24 manicure table stations that are amply spread out throughout the salon. Minimalism meets sophistication defines the atmosphere in the salon, where warm wood tones accent sleek, pearly white finishes and grey-hued furniture.
“After more than a year of preparing to expand the Les Mains family at The Works, it's surreal to see it all come together so seamlessly,” said Vo. “As we open our doors for the first time on the Upper Westside this month, we are eager to expand our reach in the Atlanta area and introduce a growing clientele to everything that makes Les Mains one-of-a-kind.”
Joining already-open concepts such as Ballard Designs, BOBO Intriguing Objects, Adelina Social Goods, Basik Spaces and Stellar Bodies, Les Mains Nail Bar will occupy 3,400 square feet in the Makers Building at The Works. Known for cool and inventive custom nail art, Les Mains will offer a robust menu of services that aim to elevate the manicure and pedicure experience. Patrons can expect high-quality nail services in a clean and relaxing environment. Alongside its wide-ranging collection of polishes, the brand is also offering Butter LONDON as the exclusive clean nail lacquer brand.
Les Mains will use the latest sanitation methods in accordance with its commitment to keeping clients safe and healthy. Masks are required to be serviced.
“Our goal for The Works is to be a true-to-Atlanta hub for the community on the Upper Westside and around the city, and Les Mains is another locally-owned brand bringing this vision to life,” said Mindy Selig, Sr. Vice President of Leasing at Selig. “From getting pampered at Les Mains to stopping for a cold beer at Dr. Scofflaw's or enjoying the sunshine at The Camp, visitors and locals alike can feel at home at The Works.”
Tenants slated for the first phase of The Works will continue to open on a rolling basis throughout this year. Chattahoochee Food Works, a 31-stall food hall featuring concepts, including Baked Kitchen, Morelli’s Gourmet Ice Cream, Unbelibubble Tea House, Baker Dude, TydeTate Kitchen, Sakura Gift, Sakura Ramen Bar, Bánh Mì Station, Flying Fish, Pomodoro Bella, Taqueria La Luz and Graffiti Breakfast is scheduled for a spring opening, while Fox Bros Bar-B-Q will debut this summer. Other tenants at The Works include office users Uppercut and Conisus. The first phase also comprises The Camp, a highly programmed, one-acre signature park and The Spur, a 970-foot linear park.
