Wellspring Living Launches Mural Campaign with Delta Air Lines

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021

Wellspring Living is pleased to announce today, on the 20th anniversary of its founding, the launch of their 20th Anniversary Mural Campaign with the first campaign partner, Delta Air Lines.

“We’re so honored to kick off Wellspring Living’s 20th Anniversary Mural Campaign here at our Atlanta headquarters,” said Allison Ausband, S.V.P. – In Flight Service. “They are an incredible partner in this fight against human trafficking. Through Wellspring Living, not only are we able to help human trafficking survivors through apprenticeships, but we’ve also worked closely with them to better educate and train Delta employees. To commemorate this partnership, this mural will live in our Training Center as a reminder of our fight to end human trafficking.”

This initiative is a multi-site, multi-partner campaign in which unique murals will be painted around the Metro Atlanta area depicting communities coming together to see lives of sex trafficking survivors transformed. Through these partnerships, organizations will educate their community members on the reality of sex trafficking and be a part of celebrating transformation.

The campaign theme “Hand in Hand” represents the hundreds of people and partners, like Delta Air Lines, who have come alongside Wellspring Living to support the restoration of sex trafficking survivors and those at risk. Delta Air Lines has partnered with Wellspring Living since 2018 through sponsorships, hosting apprenticeships, highlighting the organization’s mission internally and externally.

Local artist Ashley Bella has been selected to lead his project. Bella is a talented artist who has spent more than a decade dedicated to driving social change through mental health services, social work and community involvement. Delta employees will join Bella in painting this special mural at Delta’s [put site location here] over a 10 day span.

“We are thrilled to have Delta be the first partner to celebrate our 20 years in this special way! Their unique, devoted and creative partnership in the fight against sex trafficking truly shines,” stated Wellspring Living Founder and Executive Director Mary Frances Bowley.
