Bellyard, a 161-room Tribute Portfolio Hotel operated by Pivot opening in West Midtown’s The Interlock this spring, has selected two expert hotel professionals to the brand’s leadership team – naming Brendan Abraham as general manager and Tara Warshaw as director of sales and marketing.

Hailing from Pittsburgh, Brendan Abraham will arm Bellyard with over a decade of management experience in the hotel industry, contributing vast experience in guest relations, operations and management positions. As general manager, he will spearhead supervision of the hospitality haven’s day-to-day operations, execute sales programs and curate an authentic culture that allures and welcomes both employees and visitors.

As a passionate leader with recent roots in Atlanta, Abraham most recently served as dual general manager of Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites, as well as acting as the task force general manager for DoubleTree.

Abraham left an impactful mark on the Pittsburgh hotel scene, where he managed a variety of high-end hotels, including Renaissance Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. He also helped execute the opening of opulent hotels throughout the nation, such as Westin Cleveland, The Logan in Philadelphia and The Darcy in Washington, D.C.

“We are dedicated to positioning Bellyard as a temporary home for travelers to rest, explore, work and connect, as well as a spirited social scene for locals to eat, drink, celebrate and build genuine relationships,” said Tara Warshaw, director of marketing and sales. “The destination will be imbued with unmistakable relaxation – as if guests are in the comfort of their own homes.”

Tara Warshaw, an established Atlanta industry leader, will leverage more than two decades of dedicated and agile leadership experience in sales, marketing, customer relations and brand management at the luxurious West Midtown hotel. With a notable history of developing long-lasting, local relationships for hospitality brands, she will hone in on brand image management, executing strategic programs to achieve sales and revenue goals.

Warshaw previously lead sales and communication tactics as the director of sales and marketing at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead and Mandarin Oriental Atlanta. Prior to relocating to Atlanta, she drove revenue and marketing tactics for sophisticated hotels in the West, including Bellagio, The Mirage, Vdara Hotel & Spa and ARIA Resort & Casino.
