Council for Quality Growth Announces New Chair’s First State of Henry County Address

The Council for Quality Growth, along with Henry County and the Henry County Chamber of Commerce, is hosting the annual State of Henry County Address on Thursday, May 20, 2021. This year, the in-person event will also have a live virtual stream available through the homepage of the Council for Quality Growth website. The State of Henry County will also be held at a new location – the Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Tara Ballroom. The event will last from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., with the virtual stream beginning at 12:00 p.m.
The event will feature the newly elected Henry County Commission Chair, Carlotta Harrell, who will deliver her inaugural State of the County Address. Chair Harrell will review the past year and outline her vision for the County’s future, while providing updates on departments, projects, and other growth and development factors that make Henry County a valuable place for residents and businesses alike.
