Since 1984, YWCA of Greater Atlanta has recognized the amazing accomplishments of women in Atlanta at their annual Salute To Women of Achievement event. Over the course of the past 37 years, the organization has paid homage to women who broke glass ceilings, who support the community in countless ways and who align with their mission to “eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.” More than 300 women proudly call themselves members of their Academy of Women Achievers.
