Tuesday, May 11th, 2021

GreenPrint, a global environmental technology company, today announced the expansion of its business offerings with the formation of GreenPrint Labs. The new Labs division will deliver comprehensive Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies including scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory assessments, product-level and multi-SKU lifecycle assessments (LCAs), sustainability reporting, expanded environmental  project creation and development, and sustainability strategy recommendations to businesses. GreenPrint labs will also serve as an innovation incubator for the development of future ESG solutions.

To lead the newly formed division, GreenPrint tapped Lars Kvale, formerly head of business development at APX, a leading registry provider for environmental markets across renewable energy and greenhouse gas. Kvale brings extensive experience in developing GHG accounting protocols, establishing certification programs, and designing inclusive policies in emission trading systems.

As part of the new corporate structure GreenPrint also announced an exclusive partnership with WayCarbon, a leading Brazilian climate change and sustainability solutions company to offer an ESG Management Software which will enable companies to link their operations with their sustainability strategy. The software manages data and ESG indicators, while helping companies achieved their sustainability target and streamlining their ESG performance disclosure in compliance with CDP, GRI, Dow Jones and other reporting programs.

To complement the GreenPrint Labs launch, Dr. Scott Mathews also joins GreenPrint as an advisory board member and will be working closely on the innovation of new packaging, product-level LCA, and ESG solutions offered exclusively by GreenPrint. Dr. Mathews is currently a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon and has been with the university for over 20 years. Mathews is a leading expert with economic input-output life-cycle assessment models (EIO-LCA) and contributed to the development of tools for environmental and energy life cycle assessment) of products and processes, estimating and tracking environmental effects across global supply chains (such as carbon footprinting), and the sustainability of infrastructure systems.

“We are excited to offer businesses more comprehensive tools and insights to help them build roadmaps to meet stakeholder requirements. We aim to help businesses systematically reach their current stated environmental targets, and set even more aggressive targets in the future,” said Pete Davis, CEO, and Co-Founder of GreenPrint.
