Georgia Power was proud to be a sponsor of the 2021 First Tee Metro Atlanta Founders’ Cup at the East Lake Golf Club this past weekend. As part of the event, the company was also able to sponsor a youth player for this year’s event.

First Tee of Metro Atlanta serves children and young adults throughout the area without restrictions for residency or socioeconomic status. Their youth program provides life skills and golf training for those ages 7-17 years old.

“I am a big fan of the First Tee of Metro Atlanta programs as my daughters graduated from the program in 2019 and had the opportunity to play in the event in the past,” said John Cornelius, regional director at Georgia Power. “We were proud to sponsor another youth player this year!”
