Georgia Power Area Manager Odessa Archibald and United Way NW Georgia Region Director Nicole Lawson recently presented a sponsorship donation of $5,000 to the Midway Community Resource Center in Douglasville.

The Midway Community Resource Center operates a weekly bread distribution that provides 1,000 loaves and serves 250 families in the community from its monthly mobile food pantry. The donation from Georgia Power and United Way will support this work at the pantry and future expansion to meet local needs.
