Having dedicated and lived her life in service to others, she is perhaps best known as the co-founder and former Executive Director of Bert’s Big Adventure, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. Weiss is currently authoring her first book about healing from traumatic experiences. As a proud single mom, she considers raising two teenage boys her most important job of all.
