Tucker Brewing Company, a family-owned and operated brewing company located in Tucker, Ga. and admired for its German-style pilsners and helles (light) lagers, was recently presented with a gold medal by the New York International Beer Competition as the Georgia Lager Brewery of the Year. The brewing company also received a silver medal for its crisp, clean Tucker Lager and two bronze medals for its refreshingly smooth TKR Pilsner and rich malty Georgia Red Lager.

In its 10^th annual competition, the New York International Beer Competition received an overwhelming 800 submissions from more than 14 different countries in 30 different categories. Each submission was judged by a panel of qualified trade-buyers that are a mix of restauranteurs, retail beer buyers, cicerones, sommeliers, distributors, and importers.
 
Earlier this year, Tucker Brewing Company was named one of the winners of USA Today's 10Best Beer Gardens in the U.S. All nominees were chosen by a panel of experts and the process consisted of four weeks of public voting in order to narrow down the list to the final winners.
