Cushman & Wakefield Arranges 7,486-SF Lease for Gunnison Tree Services

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the commercial real estate services firm has arranged a 7,468-square-foot lease for Gunnison Tree Services at Northcreek Office Park, an office campus located in Atlanta’s Buckhead submarket.

Gunnison Tree Services plans to occupy the new corporate headquarters in September, including finance, HR and operations functions. In 2020, the company partnered with Warren Equity and completed seven strategic acquisitions to grow market share, including three large utility companies in the Southeast and South Central U.S.

“We are excited to move our corporate functions into this space as we continue to grow and serve our clients,” said Matt Cathell, CEO of Gunnison Tree Services. “Additionally, we are planning to make more strategic acquisitions in the future.”

Clinton McKellar and Katherine Merkel of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the lease negotiations, Adam Allam with Regent Partners self-represented the landlord.

“Since the start of the pandemic, we have seen more companies prioritize ease of access to the office,” McKellar said. “For Gunnison, we wanted to find a building which shortened employee commutes, had surface parking and available space on the first floor. At Northcreek, we were able to achieve all three objectives.”

Northcreek Office Park includes four eight-story Class A buildings totaling 536,240 square feet. Constructed between 1971 and 1979 but extensively renovated in 2003-2009, Northcreek was designed in a quad formation with a shared common interior corridor. On-site amenities include a café, conference and meeting facility, fitness center and 24/7 security with card-key access.
