The Select, Paces & Vine Owner Announces Concept at The Works
Wednesday, August 25th, 2021
Dave Green, the owner of famed Atlanta restaurants The Select and Paces & Vine, is opening an imaginative dining concept at The Works, announced Selig Development, owners of the 80-acre adaptive reuse property. Occupying nearly 7,000 square feet, the new concept will feature a rooftop bar and is slated to open Summer 2022.
“We’re bringing the Westside an entirely new dining experience. It will very much be a tasting menu, but delivered in an untraditional, exciting new format. We are combining the delicious, artfully composed dishes of a tasting menu with the constant energy of an extraordinarily social, tapas style dining experience,” says Restaurant Owner, Dave Green. “The menu will be internationally-inspired so our culinary team and I have been traveling throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas, gathering inspiration for dishes that will represent the authenticity and flavors of a variety of cultures. We can’t wait for our guests to experience the flurry of colors and flavors that will reflect the Westside’s vibrant energy,” Green concludes.
Located in Suite 110 of the Makers Building, Green’s concept will be a vibrant mix of indoor and outdoor dining, featuring a large patio that will spill out onto The Spur as well as a covered rooftop bar overlooking the property. There will be a walk-up bar opening into the main Gallery of the building along with an energetic statement bar inside the main dining room. Drawing inspiration from top chefs and culinary experts from around the world, the menu will include authentic global cuisine and cocktails with flavors sourced from iconic culinary destinations such as Spain and Italy. More details on the concept and menu items will be announced this fall.
“From seasoned chefs to new culinary geniuses breaking into the industry, The Works allows for innovative and boundary-pushing concepts to thrive,” said Mindy Selig, Senior Vice President at Selig. “As a master of experiential dining, Dave always delivers an unmatched culinary adventure for his guests, and we’re thrilled to welcome his new concept to The Works.”
