This year, Spruill’s Annual Outdoor Art Installation project, AMPLIFY, will accompany Spirits for Spruill. The installation site is located on the side of the historic “Smoke House” on the Spruill Gallery grounds, facing the intersection of Ashford Dunwoody Road, and is the current home of AMPLIFY’s inaugural winner, ‘Find Your Wings” from artist Christopher Michaels. During the evening’s activities, this year’s AMPLIFY winner will be unveiled from a pool of 25 national submissions.

Spirits for Spruill will feature a bourbon tasting with exclusive offerings from Shortbarrel Bourbon and live music from the Tyler Neal Band. Catering from Porter Brew and Que will include their famous pulled pork street tacos and a custom created beer that Porter is designing and naming just for the event. Wine is also available from the cash bar and soft drinks from Coca-Cola will be provided. During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to win unique works created by the talented Spruill instructors in an art and jewelry pull as well as a selection decadent wines in the wine pull.

“We’re really excited to combine Spirits for Spruill and the AMPLIFY unveiling this year” said Spruill Gallery Director Jennifer Price. “We received some incredible submissions from artists from around the country and the committee recently narrowed down the field to three finalists. We can’t wait to show the winner – and what better time than during the Spirits for Spruill celebration.”
