Atlantic Station today announces “Elements of Style,” an astrology-themed experience, debuting at the mixed-use destination in September to celebrate the coming of a new season. The activation is an interactive shopping and dining experience based on the 12 astrological signs and corresponding elements, that will include an event, Elements of Style: Find Your Element, to honor the autumn equinox on Sept. 22. 

Throughout the month of September, guests can scan a QR code to receive a personalized itinerary based on the characteristics of their zodiac sign and element to shop and dine at Atlantic Station retailers and restaurants. The zodiac is divided into 12 signs corresponding to one’s birth date, including Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. Each zodiac sign has distinctive personality traits and is also divided amongst the four elements of fire, earth, air and water. Shoppers who spend at least $60 at an Atlantic Station retailer or restaurant between Sept. 20 and Sept. 26 can redeem a complimentary t-shirt at Concierge with proof of purchase, while supplies last.

The month-long “Elements of Style” campaign leads up to the inaugural Elements of Style: Find Your Element event on Wednesday, Sept. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. on Atlantic Green. The date is significant because it falls during the autumn equinox, in which the sun is exactly above the equator and day and night are of equal length, an occurrence that only happens twice in a year. The astrological event will encourage guests to discover their zodiac sign and element, if they haven’t already, and to take part in a personalized experience in accordance with their sign. The event is free and open to the public. 

The event will feature signature experiences for each of the four elements - fire, earth, air and water - including a signature cocktail available for purchase, visually stunning photo backdrops and more. DJ Chika will be spinning energetic tunes and attendees can shop the creations of exclusive makers from Atlantic Station’s Maker’s Market. A yurt, a round tent used to symbolize a connection to nature will be onsite with an Aura Weaver, an aura photographer that transforms attendees’ electromagnetic energy into colorful portraits for 50 lucky winners who enter an on-site contest to take home. The first 150 guests will receive a swag tote bag with element-specific stickers, a slim can koozie, sunglasses, custom element cookie and more.
