Georgia Tech’s Research Arm Books $121M MDA Contract for Missile Defense R&D Work

Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp. has received a potential five-year, $121 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the Missile Defense Agency for weapon system-related research, development and engineering efforts.

The nonprofit organization at Georgia Institute of Technology will conduct R&D work focused on airborne-based missile defense sensors, weapons and communication systems, look into new missile platforms and join future Department of Defense technology efforts, the DOD said Thursday
