September is Hunger Action Month, and metro area Kroger stores are raising money for the Atlanta Community Food Bank to help end hunger in local communities.

=Through September 30, Kroger customers can round up their purchase with 100% of their donations going directly to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation is partnering with the Feeding America network of food banks through a fundraising campaign to “Help End Hunger Here.” The partnership is part of Zero Hunger | Zero Waste, Kroger’s bold social impact plan aimed at creating communities free of hunger and waste.

“We are excited about our continuing partnership with Feeding America and its network of food banks, which includes the Atlanta Community Food Bank. By working together with our associates, customers and communities we can achieve the vision of Zero Hunger | Zero Waste,” says Felix Turner, manager of corporate affairs for Kroger’s Atlanta Division.
