Georgia Power Area Manager of North Fulton and DeKalb Misty Fernandez recently presented a $15,000 donation to Los Niños Primero at their annual “We Dream Big” fundraising event in Sandy Springs.

This Hispanic Heritage Month, Georgia Power is proud to support Los Niños Primero’s mission to provide academic programming for Hispanic/Latinx children, ages 3-8, to improve their reading, math, social and motor skills. This programming has proven to be especially critical for addressing learning loss during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The school has provided services for Hispanic/Latinx families in the Sandy Springs area for more than 21 years. Since 2001, they have served more than 5,000 children, young adults and their families.
