Georgia Power’s Monique Carter inducted into National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter

Georgia Power Corporate Relations Representative Monique Carter was recently inducted into the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter (NCBW-MAC). The NCBW – MAC advocates on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.

Carter began her career at Georgia Power in 2004 as an administrative assistant before joining the Supplier Diversity team as a Supplier Diversity Consultant. She joined the Corporate Relations team in late 2020. In her role, she works with internal and external partners to support the company’s diverse partners and stakeholder organizations, actively supporting the state’s communities, promoting business initiatives, and educating key civic and community leaders of influence.
